What can I expect from the event?
Step into a moonlit wonderland at Luna Park in the Dark! Explore the iconic park like never before, with unlimited access to your favorite rides under the stars. At the Blacklight Dessert Bar, indulge in glow-in-the-dark desserts as you overlook 1000 neon lights! As if that wasn’t enough, you can also meet heritage carnival characters and experience the spectacular sound and light show, Sonic Neon. To top it off, there’ll be classical Candlelight Concerts in the Big Top, so there really is something for everyone!
Luna Park In The Dark is a Special Event - all require a ticket to enter regardless of intention to ride.
Where is the event located?
Luna Park Sydney - 1 Olympic Drive, Milsons Point. Accessible by car, train and ferry. Parking is available on site. Fees Apply.
Does the event take place in an indoor or outdoor venue?
This event is held outdoors. Luna Park Sydney is an all-weather Park, and the event will proceed even in inclement weather.
How long does the event last?
The event operates from 6PM to 10PM. Arrive early to enjoy up to 4 hours at the event. However, guests are welcome to arrive any time during event operating hours should they wish to arrive later.
Will food and beverage be available on site for purchase?
Food and beverage options are available for purchase during the event, including gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. External food and beverages are not able to be brought into Luna Park Sydney for this special event. Please contact Luna Park Sydney should you require further assistance.
Is there parking available?
Car park entry is via Northcliffe St, Milsons Point. There’s signage directing you to the Luna Park carpark. Max vehicle height 1.9 m. Rates apply (credit and cash payments accepted).
Will there be additional sessions?
There is no guarantee of additional dates becoming available in the future. Please refer to the event page for updated and confirmed information on availability.
Is there Virtual Reality?
This event does not have virtual reality.
Is there a dress code?
There's no defined dress code for this event. However to enjoy the unlimited rides, guests will need to wear enclosed shoes. Stiletto shoes are not permitted inside Sonic Neon.
Will there be interaction with the performers?
Yes! We encourage you to interact with the performers to fully immerse yourself in the event. Entertainment includes but is not limited to a drumming tapper, roving magician, a fortune teller, a tap show, a tango show, roving clowns, dancing showgirls and much more!
Will there be merchandise for sale?
Luna Park in the Dark will offer an array of merchandise, specific to Luna Park and also the special event of Luna Park in the Dark.
TICKETS
Do I need a ticket to enter?
Luna Park In the Dark is a Special Event. All guests require a ticket to enter, regardless of intention to ride.
Guests under 85cm in height (as deemed by Luna Park Sydney) do not require a ticket to enter.
Where can I get tickets?
Can I purchase tickets at the door?
Tickets are sold online only but you will be able to buy them at the venue on the same day. However, tickets may be sold out by the time you arrive at the event, so we highly recommend you book your tickets in advance in order to guarantee your spot. You can purchase tickets in the Fever App or on the
Fever website.
Can I transfer my tickets to another person?
Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket in the Fever App. Please
contact us if you need additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.
Do I need to print my ticket?
No, your contactless tickets will be validated directly in the Fever App.
I can't find my ticket. What should I do?
You can view your ticket in the Fever app, within the Tickets section. If you don't have the app installed, you can download it from the
Apple Store or
Google Play. Remember to log in using the same account that you used when buying the tickets. If you still cannot find your ticket, please
contact us.
Can I change the date of my ticket? Are refunds allowed?
Subject to availability, changes of date and/or time are permitted up to 48 hours before the start time of your event. In such a case, please
contact us indicating your ticket ID. Refunds are not allowed, except as required under Australian Consumer Law. For more information, you can consult our
T&C.
Can I make a group booking?
You can make group bookings up to the amount of tickets our app/web allows you to purchase (based in availability). No special group bookings will be made for this event.
ACCESS
Do I need to arrive at the start of my scheduled session?
It is recommended that you arrive at the time stated on your ticket to maximise your enjoyment of the whole experience. However you are able to come and go as you please throughout the event’s duration of 6PM to 10PM.
Can I bring animals? Are service dogs allowed?
Unfortunately, no pets are allowed in this event’s location, though we do welcome service animals.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes, the event is being held in an accessible venue. Please check rider accessibility for each ride on the
Luna Park Sydney website.
Are all ride attractions accessible? Are there safety requirements?
All ride attractions are subject to height and safety requirements. In some instances, children will need a paying parent/Adult ( 18+) to accompany them on rides. Please visit
Luna Park’s Rides page for information on which rides require an accompanying adult. For safety guests will need to wear enclosed shoes to access Coney Island.
Children under 85cm in height do not require a ticket to ride, however, they are only able to ride the carousel (chariot cars only) and the Ferris Wheel with a paying accompanying parent/adult ( 18+).
What are the prohibited items at the event? Can I smoke or vape?
Food and beverages are not able to be brought into Luna Park in the Dark. Bag checks will occur on arrival. Standard Luna Park entry terms and conditions apply.
Guests will be able to smoke/vape legal substances on the boardwalk, accessible near the Coney Island gates. Please see Luna Park Staff for assistance if required.
Are there Pass Outs?
No, there are no Pass Outs permitted for this event.
Do you offer Companion Card tickets?
Guests in possession of a valid Companion Card who have purchased a ticket for themselves and who require assistance throughout this event are entitled to apply for 1 entry free of charge for their carer to assist them during their visit. Please
contact us here with a copy of your valid Companion Card.
Once we receive this, we will provide you with a voucher that you can use to purchase your free carer ticket in the Fever app (based on availability).
Please keep in mind that you will have to present the valid Companion Card at entry with both the regular ticket with this carer ticket when entering the venue.
Will there be strobe lights?
The lighting used in some venues, as with Sonic Neon will contain strobing, flickering, patterned and strobe effects. Smoke and Haze effects will also be used in some areas. Guest discretion is advised. Sonic Neon takes place along a one-way pathway. There are some opportunities for exit along the pathway and please see Luna Park Sydney staff operating Sonic Neon if you require assistance.
Are there chairs available? Can I be seated during the event?
The Park has general seating for the comfort of our guests.
Will restrooms be available on site?
Luna Park Sydney has restrooms including mobility facilities. Please ask Luna Park Sydney staff for assistance.
Can I take photos or record the event?
Yes, taking photos and videos inside the venue is encouraged. Please note that in specific venues, NO flash photography or videography may not take place. This applies to all devices. Only private and personal devices may be used for recording content. Professional equipment and/or recordings for commercial use are strictly prohibited.
Is coat check available?
Coat check is not available at this event. Lockers are available at the rear of the Park. Rates apply.
Is cash accepted?
Luna Park Sydney is a cashless venue.
Is there an age requirement?
All ages are welcome to this event and the venue is accessible for prams/strollers. All guests require a ticket to enter, regardless of intention to ride. Guests under 85cm in height (as deemed by Luna Park Sydney) do not require a ticket to enter.
Will there be an audio guide?
Luna Park In The Dark does not include an audio guide.
